This is our team going to Guatemala March 22, 2006 thru May 21, 2006
In the lower left are Hugo and Carmen Rivas and their son Samuel, they are the team leaders. Hugo is from Chile and Carmen is from El Salvador. We are so excited to have them as our leaders and look forward to getting to know them, really know them, in Guatemala. Those of you who have been on a mission trip or any trip really with a group of people, know what I mean! The whole team is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us. With so many kids this should be a grand adventure. I have learned one of the most important phrases to know in Spanish: "Adonde Esta El Bano?"

Ah, you know I am so jealous of you guys! But I will be channelling that jealousy into prayer for sure! The girls did not win state, they played a GREAT first half and then the other team just came back super strong making all their shots in the second half and our girls just couldn't get anything in. So sad. But I'm proud of em still, 2nd in the state is nothing to be ashamed of that's for sure!
